Delivery

STANDARD DELIVERY £5.75

Whatever you order, be it bunk beds, bookcases, or toys, our standard delivery charge is the same. This single charge applies even if your order requires several separate deliveries, or contains a large item such as a bed or a big piece of furniture (please see Bed & Large Furniture Delivery Information for more details of these deliveries). For international delivery charges please see International Delivery Information.

Items that are in stock will be with you within just 3 to 5 working days (please allow up to 10 days for deliveries to Highlands and Islands as well as the Republic of Ireland). Please note deliveries may arrive between 7am and 7pm.

Personalised products, some furniture and other selected items will be sent separately as soon as they are ready (please check product details for more specific information).

EXPRESS DELIVERY £7.95

If you'd like your order to arrive more quickly, you can select our Express Delivery service for an extra £2.20; this means your parcel will arrive on the next working day, as long as the items are in stock and that you order before 6pm (see below).

If you'd like your order to arrive on a particular day, you can specify a delivery day for an extra £3.20 on top of the standard delivery charge; we only ask that it be within seven days of when you placed your original order. If you'd like your order to arrive on a particular day before 12:00pm, you can choose a delivery day for an extra £2 on top of the name the day delivery charge; we only ask that it be within seven days of when you placed your original order. This service is not available for Saturday delivery and is only available where the items are in stock. Please refer to individual product information online to check availability.

CHANNELS ISLANDS £12.95

Islands of the Channel Islands - Jersey, Guernsey, Alderney, Sark, Herm, Jethou and Brecqhou (Brechou) are charged £12.95 for delivery.

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY

Many of our products are available for delivery to international destinations as long as they are in stock; these items are labelled with the icon shown on the left. Please note items for international delivery are not available to 'pre-order' if they are out of stock.

Postage & packaging costs are calculated in the checkout basket and are dependent on the package dimensions, weight and delivery location.

Transit time is normally within seven working days (UK working days are Monday to Friday). However this estimate is based on deliveries to major cities; please allow a few extra days for more remote destinations.

BED & LARGE DELIVERY ITEMS

Our standard bed delivery time scale can vary according to stock levels, and may be longer in certain areas. Please check the relevant product page for the most up-to-date lead times.


After placing your order...

You will be contacted by a member of our delivery team to arrange a date for delivery. We will aim to provide a two-hour time slot for delivery and will do our best to contact you on the day of delivery if for any reason we are delayed. When we call to arrange delivery, we will also ask you for details of a suitable location for the delivery van to park.


Before taking delivery...

Please be sure to measure entrances and doorways so that you can be confident the goods can be carried through them; delivery is to the room of your choice but this is subject to accessibility. We would also ask that entrances are cleared and fragile items are removed from the hallway/stairs to prevent any accidental damage during the transit of large pieces of furniture through your home.

OUT OF STOCK ITEMS AND PREORDERS

If a product is listed as temporarily out of stock, it can normally be pre-ordered for delivery when it becomes available (you can find this information on the relevant product page of the website); you will not be charged for pre-ordered items until they are despatched to you, unless you are paying by Paypal, in which case payment will be taken at the point of ordering. Please note there are no additional delivery charges for pre-ordered items and they will not delay the rest of the your order.

SELF-ASSEMBLY

Please check the details tab on the product information page to determine whether the product requires self-assembly. In our catalogues, products that require self-assembly are indicated by a screwdriver icon in the product information.

If, like many of us at GLTC, you aren't a dab hand at DIY or just don't have time for self-assembly, you may wish to contact the Flat Pack Construction Company (FPCC), for an installation quote. More info on the Assembly Service.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

We hope you’re delighted with everything you buy from us, but we do understand that you may need to return things sometimes.

So if you're not happy with something you receive from us for any reason, you can return it at our cost, for refund or exchange. You can use our Free Returns service from anywhere in the UK excluding the Republic of Ireland; just make sure you return your order unused within 30 days of the despatch date.

Please note the following items cannot be exchanged or refunded:

  • Personalised products
  • Self-assembly items which have been assembled or part-assembled are excluded unless they are damaged or faulty.
  • Mattresses, bedding, toilet accessories, car seats or personal grooming products once the packaging has been opened (due to hygiene and safety reasons).

Our Free Returns policy means you can return things from anywhere in the UK for any reason, at our cost, for a refund or an exchange; you just need to return it, unused, within 30 days of the despatch date.

Any items bought as gifts from 8th October 2018 can be returned until the 14th January 2019 for a refund. The extended Christmas returns period applies to all products that can normally be returned, in line with our usual returns policy. Your statutory rights are not affected by this policy.
