What is a storage bench?
A storage bench is a seat with hidden storage inside or open storage underneath. In a child's room it does two jobs at once: a comfy spot for reading or putting on shoes, and a handy place to tidy toys away. They work brilliantly at the end of a bed, under a window or in a playroom.
Is a toy box bench safe for children?
Look for a bench with a lid that closes slowly or stays open on its own, so it can't fall onto little fingers. Rounded edges and a sturdy build are important too. Always follow the age guidance and instructions supplied with your bench.
