#MyGLTC: No Playroom? No Problem!

Every month, we run a competition for one lucky person to win £100 to spend at Great Little Trading Co. All you have to do is share a photo of one of our products in your home (on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter) using the #MyGLTC hashtag. And that's it.

We love to see how you're using our storage, decorating your children's rooms with our accessories, and how your little ones are playing with our toys. We feel like proud parents when we spot one of our designs helping to make your home a happy one.

We've mentioned before that having a dedicated playroom isn't a reality for most of us. We have to be clever in finding corners of our homes for toys, toy storage, arts and crafts areas, and reading nooks. But organising and zoning off these areas and making them inviting without taking over the whole room can be difficult.

Let's have a look at some of the recent #MyGLTC photos to see how our customers have been doing just that.

A COSY PLACE TO PLAY

Okay, that should probably read 'a cosy place to play or sleep' but either way, our soft children's rugs are fantastic for zoning off a playing or relaxing area in a bedroom or living room. Coming in several different sizes and designs, you're sure to find the perfect rug for a small play space or a larger one for bigger rooms.

GORGEOUS HIDEAWAYS

Our beautifully made, roomy play tents make gorgeous hideaways for children. The teepee design makes them a doddle to set up, either out in the garden or inside. They're a playful addition to children's bedrooms or placed in the corner of a family room, and also double up as storage and a great home for soft toys.

TERRIFIC TOY CARTS

If you're short on space, take a look at our smaller toy boxes, storage cubes and stacking storage. They're ideal for popping in corners of different rooms around the home and make toys accessible but easy to put away at the end of the day.

SPACE SAVING BOOK STORAGE

If floor space is at a premium, you will love the Greenaway gallery bookcase. It tidies books off the floor but also keeps them easy to view so children can find their favourites. The shelves are deep enough for small ornaments or even a vase or two so you can give it a more grown up feel if placed in a family room or home office.

Or you could opt for a cute book caddy that can be moved from room to room depending on where your child wants to curl up and read - either indoors or even outside. There's space enough for notepads, colouring books and pens so it can double up as a craft caddy, too.

SEAMLESS STORAGE AND TABLE TOP TOYS

Finally, there's toy storage that fits seamlessly in to the chicest of Scandi-inpsired living rooms and role play toys that belong in the rooms that their real life counterparts are naturally used in.

Thank you to everyone who kindly shared their photos with us. Want more storage inspiration? Take a look at our full range of toy storage.
