Make early maths fun and hands-on with our Learn & Play Numbers Set, designed to help little learners build confidence with counting, number recognition, number formation and simple sums through play.
Start with the colourful illustrated number cards, counting the pictures together and matching quantities to their numbers. Children can use the number and dot tiles to recognise different ways of representing quantities, while the colourful wooden counters bring counting to life and can be stacked, sorted and used to explore ideas such as more, fewer and the same.
As their confidence grows, little ones can practise number formation by tracing over the wipe-clean cards with your own whiteboard pen, before wiping them clean and trying again. The mini number and symbol tiles can then be used to build simple sums, with the counters and dot tiles providing a helpful visual aid for working out the answers.
The chalkboard offers another space to practise numbers and sums using your own chalk, making this a versatile learning set that can adapt as children's early maths skills develop. From counting their first objects to solving their first addition problems, there are plenty of ways to learn, practise and progress through play.
The Learn & Play Numbers Set includes illustrated number cards from 1–20, with colourful counting activities and number-tracing exercises. It also includes 50 colourful wooden counters, a wooden counting stand, a chalkboard and wooden pencil, plus a collection of number and dot tiles for recognising and matching quantities.
The number tiles include 0–20, alongside plus, minus and equals symbols, so children can progress from early counting and number recognition to building and solving their first simple sums.
PLEASE NOTE: We do not supply sand, chalk or whiteboard pens with this learning toy.
