SPOTTED: GLTC IN YOUR HOMES

We love seeing our products in your homes and how they're being used. We feel like proud parents whenever you tag us on social media and we spot our storage keeping playrooms neat and tidy or our soft, snuggly bedding brightening up children's bedrooms. And it gives us ideas and inspiration for future designs, too. We get amazing insight in to what you want and what works in family homes. This kind of visual feedback is invaluable and not something that we ever take for granted. 

Over the past couple of months, as we've been scrolling through all of the photographs that we've been tagged in, we've spotted five similar products appearing time and time again. If you want to know what's been trending in UK homes recently, read on.

ABBEVILLE CUBE STORAGE

The Abbeville cube storage range continues to be as popular as ever. Coming in white, cloud grey and stone and in an array of shapes and sizes - from handy benches to larger twelve cube units, we see this versatile range popping up in different homes and rooms on a daily basis. It's interesting to see how our customers personalise their storage with our different cubes. Choose from canvas cubes, woven cubes or sturdy rope storage baskets, all in multiple designs and colours. We love how the same piece of storage can look so unique depending on how it's been dressed.

ALBA MODULAR PLAYROOM STORAGE

The newly launched Alba playroom storage is proving to be as well-liked as its predecessor, the Northcote range. If you haven't had a chance to take a look at it yet, Alba offers the look and feel of built-in storage but without the expensive price tag. As you can see from the three shared images, you can select as many units or sets as you like and then configure them in a way that works best for you and the space available. Clever, right? Especially the handy corner unit. Again, you can use storage cubes and baskets to achieve an individual look.

GREENAWAY BOOKCASE RANGE

So popular is the Greenaway bookcase that it's rare for GLTC to be tagged in a photo that doesn't include one. It's one of our most-loved products and we keep adding to the range in terms of the sizes and colours that we offer. Children love them because it means that their books are front-facing and easily accessible. The colourful illustrations really brighten up a room and mean that the bookcase almost looks like a beautiful piece of art. The shelves are also wide enough for trinkets, treasures, small toys and teddies to sit on, too.

HEIGHT CHARTS

We've added lots of gorgeous things to our height charts and wall art range recently and it's lovely to see them start to pop up in your homes. We stock two height charts. A classic wooden ruler that's as much a fantastic wall feature as it is practical for marking your child's height on. Slightly different is the How Tall Am I height chart which has a measurer that can be moved up and down. Expect to find your child measuring themselves on a daily basis to prove how much they've grown overnight!

SHAKER PEG RAIL

Last but by no means least is our super simple but incredibly chic Shaker Peg Rail, which has a useful ledge and six handy hooks. We love seeing what you store on and hang from yours. We've seen the peg rail keeping hallways tidy with school bags and coats hanging from it, and in kitchens with aprons and dog leads neatly tied up. Our favourite has to be in nurseries and children's rooms, though. How pretty are these pictures? We love how the rails are being used to create beautiful wall features.
