If there’s one thing that most children have in common, it’s a complete and utter fascination with dinosaurs. When did they live? What did they look like? Were they really that big?
And for those that live in the UK (and further afield … it’s a popular tourist destination), a trip to London’s Natural History Museum is an absolute must. Did you know that you can actually have a sleepover in the stunning Hintze Hall, home to the museum’s 25.2-metre blue whale skeleton? It looks amazing!
If you can’t get to London and fancy recreating your own little habitat for those fantastic herbivores and carnivores, how about a dinosaur-themed children’s room? A roar-some idea, right
You can go all out with dinosaur wallpaper, toy storage and room accessories or simply add one or two dino elements. Either way, a dinosaur themed room is one that’s brilliant from both a learning and an imaginative play point of view. And it will look super cool, too.

CRAFT YOUR OWN JUNGLE BUNTING
If craft is your thing, how about a handmade touch?
We love tradition bunting but this jungle version couldn’t be more perfect for a dinosaur themed children’s bedroom. Choose cardboard in different colour greens and cut out different shapes and sizes of leaves. Glue them all along a piece of twine and then hang your bunting up using command hooks.
A ROAR-SOME WALL HANGING
Or, if you’ve collected any sticks while out and about on walks with your children, you could decorate papier-mache letters with paint or our dinosaur wallpaper and create a mobile to hang from the wall. Add mini toy dinosaurs for an extra fun effect.
