Best Children's Retailer 2012 and 2013...

Having won this award in 2012 at the prestigious ECMOD Awards, we’re delighted to have won it AGAIN this year in 2013. The top brass of the industry examined our range, our retail operations, and our customer service, before announcing on April 18th that we were indeed the Best Children’s Retailer for the second year in a row!

We've actually been awarded this an amazing 6 times now (we also won it in 2009, 2008, 2007 and 2001)… We’re constantly striving to improve our customer service, our website and our catalogues to make shopping easier and more enjoyable for our customers; we’re also working hard to share our knowledge and experience of family life with them through our own designs (well over half our range is now designed by us and exclusive to us). It’s wonderful to have those efforts recognised by our industry; it also makes us value our wonderful customers and suppliers even more - we couldn’t do it without them.

2012 also brought us a Sheerluxe Online Shopping Award, in the Mother & Child Category for 'Best Children's Bedrooms'; this award was particularly pleasing because it was voted for by the public, so it felt like a direct recognition of our hard work.

Our products were also much lauded last year: our Play Shop & Theatre won a Junior Magazine Best Toy Award – praise indeed for our Buyers Toni and Tracy, who designed and developed this fantastic product. Junior magazine also awarded a 'Highly Commended' to our Northcote Interlocking Storage System and gave us a special Commendation in their Children’s Retailer honours.
