GET READY FOR CHRISTMAS WITH SPARE BEDS AND SLEEPING BAGS

Just when you think you've got everything sorted ready for the holidays - decorations, food shopping, gifts - you suddenly count up the number of guests arriving for Christmas Day compared to the number of beds available in your house, and ARGH!

Where's everyone going to sleep?

In most homes across the UK, this often means the littlest members of the family giving up their beds for a night or two. Sometimes, begrudgingly. Often, needing a sweet treat as a bribe.

However, with our gorgeous spare beds and comfy sleeping bags, you can turn your children's frowns upside down and make those couple of nights seem like an exciting sleepover rather than an annual chore. In case you need to quickly make up a spare bed this Christmas, let's find the perfect one for the space you have available in your home ... and that you child will love.

 ROOMY SLEEPING BAGS

GLTC's sleeping bags are both incredibly practical and thoroughly adorable, as well as making sleepovers a doddle. Both the stitched, quilted cover and the lining are made from breathable cotton and while designed with children in mind, these sleeping bags are long enough for teenagers and grown ups to use, too. They also have integral handles make them easy to roll up, carry and store away when not being used.

The only issue you'll have with our sleeping bags is deciding which design to opt for. Will you choose Superhero (pictured), Grey Stardust or Bunny Hop? Decisions, decisions!

ROLL-OUT BEDS IN A BAG

For maximum fun for your children and minimum fuss for you, the Bed in the Bag couldn't be more perfect. Take it out of its neat storage bag and simply roll it out. Hey presto, you have a comfy spare bed in seconds. Not just for children, it's large enough for adults to lie on, too.

It comes with its own zipped storage bag to keep it clean and tidy when not in use. The soft cover is made from 100% cotton and the padded sections are polyester-filled meaning no inflation is required.

Again, there's a choice of designs for you to pick from: Navy Star, Pink Star (pictured) and Grey Stardust, which matches the sleeping bag. Which is your favourite?

HANDY CHAIR BEDS

Our Chair Bed - a chair that quickly converts into a sleepover bed - is a really popular option. Unzip and remove the cover, fold out the mattress and there you have it, a really cosy bed. And when your guests leave, it's just as easy to turn it back into a usable chair - no need to find a place to store or hide it away.

We think that it's perfect for a child's bedroom or a cosy book nook in the corner of a playroom or living room. It has a similar look to a bean bag (minus the beans, obviously) but with additional functionality. The seat cover is made from 100% cotton but we'd definitely recommend using a sheet and/or mattress protector for a more comfortable night's sleep.

Choose from our stylish, monochrome Zigzag design or our super stellar Grey Stardust version.

PRACTICAL UNDERBED TRUCKLES

An underbed truckle drawer is a really practical sleepover or storage option for a child's bedroom. Use it as a spare bed, or as a storage drawer for toys, games or spare bedding. The choice is yours. The four hidden castors make it easy to roll out from under the bed, and from the GLTC range of beds, it works well with the Star Bright Single Bed. Don't forget to add a truckle mattress to your order -  it's slightly shallower than a standard single.

We hope this mini guide helps you in your quest to find the perfect spare bed or sleeping bag for your festive guests. Don't forget extra bedding and blankets, too!
