an excellent idea for a child's bookcase where the books are easy to fit in and the fronts of the books can be clearly seen
Item as described, very nice, thank you!
Looks very stylish and comes in handy when you're having lots of book, you can keep changing them around so they can't get bored.
Good but I was really disappointed that it's not like it is shown in the picture on the website. The bottom sling (which is the only one you can see when it's full of books), does not have the rainbow star print on it. You can only see through to the reverse print. Ideally the sling would be printed double sided to avoid this happening. The picture on the website must be photo shopped which I wouldn't expect from GLTC. That said, it's sturdy and holds lots of books. Perfect height for my toddler to choose the books he wants to read.
GLTC's Reply - Thank you for your feedback. It sounds like you have received a faulty sling as the fabric should look just like the image on our website. Following on from your feedback we have checked all the stock in our warehouse and found that some of the slings were faulty as you described. These have all been returned to the supplier now so you can be assured that the replacement will look just as you expect from the image on the website.
With sincerest apologies, GLTC
A bit expensive perhaps but a good product still
We wanted a little bookcase in the living room. This seemed ideal and it is. I wanted something gender neutral in case the nxt child we have is a girl. Again perfect for that. I wasn't fussed about it holding lots of books as it is only for a few books downstairs. Most of our boys books are up in his room. But currently it's holding about 20 books all shapes and sizes. My boy is 2 and it is at a level where he can choose his books and the whole thing doesn't fall over when he pulls one out. Little books may get 'lost ' in the slings but my boy looks for them and digs them out. It's great cos story time isn't just bed time now. When he comes home from nursery he chooses books and we read together. Anyway, the reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that done if the bolts wouldn't go in (2) and 2 were too loose. The threads aren't equal. It's simple to put together but it would be easier if the threads are all the same. I've put the bookshelf at an angle where my boy won't catch the bolts as a couple are sticking out. Other than that it looks classy and is perfect if you want a small bookcase.
