Our toy castle is made from wood but has a smooth finish which allows the use of incredibly realistic detail - so the walls have authentic looking patches of moss and mottled stone! It also fits together with ingenious spots of Velcro (yes Velcro), which is unbelievably easy to fit together and amazingly solid.
