Not sure why the top shelf is not designed to fit flush with the edge of the drawer, as the design means it can't also be used as a useful seat. However the construction is solid and sturdy and it looks attractive.
Again, the instructions could have been much clearer.
Good sturdy quality, though a bit expensive. Photographs on instructions are not clear.
Instructions were rubbish
Thought this was going to be more difficult to build but it was very quick and easy. The draw is easy to open and close and looks really good too.
Very easy to assemble
This range is perfect for an unusually shaped room. Great quality. Our furniture did have an odour, as others on here had mentioned, but it disappeared within a day. Good quality, though you do have to be careful not to push the screws in too far as others have mentioned. Really please with the furniture and will buy more to build up what we have.
The instructions are hard to follow as the detail about where the screws go etc is printed too dark
Good product-instructions could be clearer as they were quite vague/confusing.
Nice piece of furniture which we purchased along with two other pieces from this range along with some canvas storage cubes. Looks great in our sons room not too babyish and should hopefully last a few years. My only grumble was a little expensive for what it actually is but, after searching for months for this kind of unit we bit the bullet and ordered it and glad we did.
Good solid product and fairly easy to build
Base unit fine but shelf has a scratch across the top of it.please let me know what to do,as we don't really want to desemble the base unit.thank you.
Assembly instructions atrocious. Makes you realise how well put together ikea stuff is!
GLTC's Reply - Pleas accept our sincerest apologies for the poor quality of the assembly instructions. Based on yours and similar feedback we are working hard to improve the quality of all our assembly instructions. We hope that this has not spoiled your enjoyment of this lovely toy box.
With our apologies
Really good quality product. This is the fifth item I've bought from the range
Instructions are very poor though. They were badly printed (or may even have been a photocopy) so the pictures of each part weren't clear. This made it very difficult to identify which parts were supposed to be fixed together.
This is just a superb storage system. It looks really smart and I love the way it all fits together. The only small complaint was the instructions weren't very easy to follow - it was fine but not as easy as Ikea - a few more intermediate steps would help. In spite of that, we will be buying more!
Wood split when hammering dowels in and screwing drawer runners in. Assembly instructions were terrible - very basic and missed out the need to use dowels completely.
GLTC's Reply - We are very sorry to hear about the difficulty with the drawer. We will be in touch to make sure everything went together as it should and to see if a replacement is required.
I did find that the draw part started to split when screwing the draw runners on as the pre-drilled holes ran against the grain.
