Time to get ready for Christmas! So start writing that list of things to do and presents to buy (we have a super Christmas planner that’s just the job!) - we all hope to give our families the perfect Christmas, and with our stunning Christmas decorations and present ideas GLTC can help you make the festive period as brilliant as you want to be.
First and foremost you need an Advent Calendar – or several, depending on how many children you have! Choose from our stunning range of long lasting wooden or fabric advent calendars – we have a gorgeous wooden advent train with little drawers for Christmas treats, or a set of colourful advent drawers, a nativity advent calendar, a fabric Christmas Tree calendar, and a fabric woodland scene calendar with pockets for toys and treats. But don’t forget to remind your children of the real message of Christmas – and the perfect way to do this is with our gorgeous wooden and felt nativity sets and nativity themed decorations.
One of the most enjoyable parts of Christmas is decorating your home – Christmas cards can be displayed neatly and easily with one of our pretty Christmas Card holders, but of course the other central theme of Christmas in your home will be the Christmas tree! Our Christmas decorations are beautifully made and great value; choose from our rustic, woodland decorations, traditionally themed decorations, or personalised Christmas baubles; we also have gorgeous Christmas tree skirts to hide ugly stands and wires, with matching Christmas stockings and Present Sacks; choose from our stunning Snowflake design or our Woodland Scene design - you can even have your child’s name embroidered on them to make them truly personal! We even have a beautiful enamelled free standing stocking hook if you don’t have anywhere appropriate to hang them up on Christmas Eve!
And we can help you decorate the rest of your home too – how about a gorgeous wicker reindeer with fairy lights in your hallway, or a beautiful shining star in your window? In fact window lights and stickers are a lovely way to wish the world a Merry Christmas, and great fun for your children when they come home from school on those dark December evenings - here at GLTC we have some lovely snowflake lights and stickers, and some festive Santa stickers and lights which glow with a friendly HO HO HO!
Nearer the big day you can keep the children busy with some festive arts and crafts – we have some fantastic ‘Make Your Own Stocking’ kits and ‘Make Your Own Christmas Card’ sets, or if you’re feeling ambitious how about making a Gingerbread House or a Gingerbread Tree – you can always eat the gingerbread at the end, however it turns out!
Last but definitely not least – the presents! GLTC have some fantastic presents for girls this year, and lots of ideas for boys too: everything from wooden castles and science games to dolls houses and play kitchens, along with lots of fun toys, many with an educational value which will teach as well as amuse!
