Offers & promotions

• Offers cannot be used in conjunction with any other GLTC catalogue, internet or product offer.
• Offers are not transferable or for publication either on or offline.
• Free P&P offers always apply to standard delivery worth £5.95.
• Offers with a spend threshold always exclude delivery charges.
• Offer end dates apply.
• Offers are at GLTC’s sole discretion and are subject to variation or withdrawal without notice.

Excluded products from promotions

Where a “% off” offer is given, the following product exclusions apply: playhouses, sandpits, climbing centres, trampolines, Lazzari, a small selection of indoor and outdoor games and furniture, and a few ad hoc products. For a full list of excluded products please click here. In addition, items in our sale/clearance categories are excluded from “% off” offers, as are items in money-saving bundle offers (eg. G2472 where you will save £20 but do not get a further % off discount).

Please note that less than 10% of our range is excluded from promotions and we always strive to include as much as possible - we only exclude those products where the initial margin and / or weak sterling exchange rates prevent us from offering further price reductions.

Calculation of discounts in your basket

If a “% off” offer is combined with a free P&P offer, the “% off” saving is calculated on the product value independent of the P&P value. The P&P discount is then applied to the P&P value. All discounts, including P&P, are made at the product level in your basket.

VAT

VAT is charged at the prevailing rate, currently 17.5%.

Prices

• Prices are correct at time of publishing, are valid until 13th August 2010 and include VAT where applicable.
• It may be necessary to change prices either up or down, from time to time, including any alterations to the rate of VAT. Any price changes will be confirmed to you at the time of ordering.

Portrayal of products

• While every effort has been made to portray items accurately, slight variations may occur.
• All measurements quoted are approximate and the reproduction of colours is as accurate as photographic and publishing processes will allow.
• Please note there may be variations in colours dependant on the calibration and settings of individual screens.

Safety regulations

• All products comply with appropriate safety and consumer regulations. Toys comply with EC Toy Safety Regulations and, where appropriate, carry the CE mark. If a product is recalled for any reason, you will be contacted.

Availability

• All items are subject to availability.
• We will inform you as soon as possible if goods you have ordered are not available.

Cancellation

• You are entitled to cancel your contract if you wish providing you act within 7 working days of receipt of the goods.
• If you wish to exercise this right prior to despatch of goods please email enquiries@gltc.co.uk
• If your order has already been despatched please follow our returns information.
• Please note your right to return products does not apply on personalised items, those made to your specifications. These may only be returned if they are faulty except for personalised items see below.

Returns

• We hope you are happy with any product purchased, but if you wish to return a product to us for any reason you may do so within 30 days of the despatch date. It must be in a saleable condition and in its original undamaged packaging. We will refund the price or replace the product. We may withhold up to 20% of the purchase price of returned goods if the product or packaging is in such a condition that the item is not fully resaleable. Return delivery charges will only be refunded in the event of faulty, damaged or incorrect items. This does not affect your statutory rights.
• Please note due to reasons of safety, hygiene and security we are unable to exchange or accept the return of certain products once the packaging has been opened unless faulty: mattresses, mattress protectors, duvets & pillows, toilet accessories, car seats and personal grooming products.
• We cannot refund or exchange personalised products unless faulty. We cannot refund or exchange self assembly items if they have been assembled, unless faulty.
• What to do: there is no need to contact us before you return anything – just fill out the Returns form included in your parcel and send it back with the item; we’ll process your refund or replacement as soon as it arrives back with us.
• If an item(s) is delivered to you and assembled on site by one of our crew, and at a later date you wish to return it, please call Customer Services on 0844 848 6000 who will advise you what to do. Please do not attempt to dismantle the item(s) before calling Customer Services as this will revoke your returns claim. Please note that personalised items can only be returned or exchanged if faulty. This does not affect your statutory rights.
• The cost of returning items is down to you and you are responsible for any returned goods until they reach our warehouse. We recommend that you obtain a Proof of Postage certificate which are available free of charge from the Post Office. Alternatively, call Customer Services on 0844 848 6000 who can arrange a collection at a charge of £10 which is non refundable unless the incorrect item was sent or the item is faulty or damaged. We will refund returns postage for an item which is faulty, damaged or sent to you in error.
• We regret that postage, packing and insurance incurred in the delivery of the goods to you are direct costs and cannot be refunded except in the case of cancellations.
• International Returns: We regret that we no longer accept overseas orders or send catalogue requests to overseas addresses.
• Returns and exchanges will be processed as soon as possible after arrival.
• Credit can be used against your next order, both online and with telephone orders.

VAT refunds

• We can refund VAT on orders sent to BFPO addresses, as long as the address is located outside the European Union. We are happy to refund the VAT to you after your order has been dispatched. To request a VAT refund after dispatch, please send us a copy of a VAT exemption form signed by your CO. Remember to include the order number with your request.

Liability disclaimer

• GLTC’s total liability for any claim howsoever shall not exceed the price of the goods supplied by GLTC to the customer. GLTC shall not be liable for any consequential loss whether this arises from a breach of duty in contract or in any other way, save where such liability is imposed upon GLTC by statute. GLTC cannot accept any liability for a failure to comply with instructions specifically stated in the catalogue. GLTC does not limit in any way our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or willful misconduct. By law, you also have the right to withdraw from the purchase of an item within seven working days of the day after the date the item is delivered. Goods are provided to you on approval and legal title to the goods will not pass to you until [14] days after delivery. Your statutory rights are not affected by this statement.
• When you place an order to purchase a product from GLTC, your order represents an offer to us to purchase a product which is accepted by us by way of a despatch note included when you receive your order. Any products on the same order which we have not confirmed as accepted in such despatch note do not form part of the contract.
• GLTC endeavours to check the accuracy of the information on this site. However, GLTC does not warrant that such information will be error free and the user acknowledges that information, products and services published on this web site may include inaccuracies and typological errors. If the goods do not on receipt by you substantially meet the description on this web site, you are entitled to reject the goods and return them to us.

Platinum delivery service

• Platinum delivery items (products with 2 platinum lorry symbols) will be delivered by our 2 man special courier service.
• Our carrier will be in touch to arrange a 4 hour delivery slot with you. Delivery will be within the following 6 weeks, depending upon stock availability. (Subsequent changes might cause delays to your delivery and may result in additional costs being charged).
• Items will be delivered to the room of your choice and all packaging material will be taken away.  Prior to ordering, please ensure that the item(s) will fit through access points to the room. You will be asked to take down any delicate or unstable items that are in the way.
• On delivery if for any reason you are not satisfied with the item(s), crew will take them away immediately free of charge for a replacement or refund. Should you subsequently wish to return the item(s) after accepting delivery, you will be charged £50 for collection.
• Please note: We require 48 hours notice if you are unable to be present for delivery, or a £50 charge will be levied. Platinum delivery items will be delivered separately to the rest of your order.
• You are required to ensure clear access is provided to the delivery address including parking permits, permissions for access lanes etc.  Should the delivery vehicle incur a penalty, this will be charged back to you. 

Security

• Our secure server software encrypts all of your personal information, including name, address and credit card details. Information remains scrambled whenever it is transmitted over the web. This means that ordering via our site is even more secure than ordering over the phone.

Website

• Every effort is made to ensure that this website is free from viruses and defects however, this cannot be guaranteed.
• G.L.T.C. Ltd shall not be liable to any person for loss or damage which may arise as a result of any failure by you to protect your password or account. You are responsible for the confidentiality of your password and account and any activities that occur under your account.
• G.L.T.C. Ltd shall not be liable to any person for loss or damage which may arise to computer equipment as a result of using this website.
