Calculation of discounts in your basket

If a “% off” offer is combined with a free P&P offer, the P&P is deducted from the product values first and then the “% off” saving is calculated on the balance of the product value. All discounts, including P&P, are made at the product level in your basket. When a P&P discount is applied, the delivery totals shown in the basket are not adjusted because the P&P discount has been applied in full to reduce the total product price.

UK delivery information

This season our delivery charges are simpler and better value than ever before, especially for larger items that require one of our Lorry services.

There is now one single delivery charge per order, depending on whether your order contains a Lorry Delivery item or not: Orders without any Lorry delivery items qualify for our standard delivery charge of £5.95 (or you can upgrade to Express delivery for an extra £5). Orders containing any lorry delivery items will be charged one fixed price, according to the table below (the lorry symbols in the product information tell you which service applies – it’s not possible to choose which service you prefer).

Standard delivery

All in-stock items will be with you within 3 to 5 working days. Personalised products will be sent separately as soon as they are ready (normally within 6 weeks – please check product details for more specific information).

Out of stock items

Anything that is temporarily out of stock can be kept on backorder for you, and will be sent to you at no extra cost as soon as it is back in stock – expected stock arrival dates are displayed on the product detail page online. We do our best to ensure our product arrives on time, as per our published due dates, however from time to time we can experience delays.

Express delivery  Express Delivery

For an extra £5, you can upgrade to express delivery service, which we offer on all products without a Lorry symbol, as long as they are in stock. Simply order online or by telephone before 2pm, Monday to Thursday for guaranteed next day delivery; the express service is also available outside these hours but in this case delivery will take two working days.

Lorry deliveries (products marked with lorry symbols)

Some larger items require a specialised delivery service, as indicated by the lorry symbols in the product information, but the cost of delivering the rest of your order is included in this price. So no matter how many items you order, you will only pay one delivery charge (and the most you would ever have to pay is £29.95, which would be for an order which includes a platinum delivery item). Express delivery is not available for items requiring Lorry Delivery.

Platinum furniture delivery (only applicable where indicated)

Extra heavy items requiring platinum delivery will be delivered to the room of your choice (but please ensure that fully assembled item(s) will fit through all access points to the room prior to ordering) and the packaging material will be taken away.

On delivery if for any reason you are not completely satisfied with the item(s), our crew will take them away immediately free of charge for a replacement or refund. Should you subsequently wish to return the item(s) after accepting delivery, you will be charged £50 for collection.

Please note for platinum delivery: we require 48 hours notice if you are unable to be present for the delivery, otherwise a £50 re-delivery charge will be made.

You are required to ensure clear access is provided to the delivery address including parking permits, permissions for access lanes etc. Should the delivery vehicle incur a penalty, this will be charged back to you.
