It’s simple really! Here at GLTC our aim is it to try and make your life as a parent easier whilst your little ones have fun making the most of childhood.

• Pretending to be a doctor, teacher, princess, artist, lawyer, fireman, astronaut, policeman, paramedic, musician, designer, fairy or none of the above....all in the same week

• Learning to ride a bike and swimming a whole length

• Getting a gold star from your favourite teacher!

• Putting on a concert for Granny and Grandpa

• Realising the bottom piece of a recorder isn’t absolutely essential

• Your fifth birthday party (you’ve started school and suddenly got tons of friends to invite)

• Meeting your new sibling for the very first time. Not much hair!

• Growing exponentially taller but not having to wear ‘fairy-focals’

• Discovering something you really, really like doing. ping pong, tennis, football, rugby, horse riding, ballet, gymnastics, trampolineing, space hopping, art, music, cooking, cycling, scootering…

• Not having a mortgage

The worst bit? Peeling off plasters from scabby knees. 1, 2, 3 OFF!

We're mums and Dads ourselves 

We know there’s NOTHING simple about being a parent, so our job is to source as many innovative, useful, exclusive and hard-to-find products from the UK and further afield, that cover all aspects of family life. Many of these we design ourselves because we believe children can flourish without forsaking the style of the family home, and whilst being exciting for children, products should be practical and stylish too. Sounds an easy task doesn’t it!

For the third year running, we’ve won the Best Children’s Retailer at the UK’s mail order industry awards (ECMOD – our version of the Oscars!). We’re very proud and couldn't have done it without the fabulous support of our customers and suppliers. Our Mums and Dads were pleased too.

Testing, testing, 1, 2, 3...

It’s not always been easy peasy but over the past 15 years we’ve had a really fun time growing our range and testing thousands of products. It’s our testing team that have the final say - Bryony (20mths), Evie (2yrs), Sally (6yrs), Dion (6yrs), Tom (7yrs), Grace(9yrs) and Eliza(10yrs) have the enviable job of testing all the stuff for children. If it’s designed for use by a parent then we rope the team's parents in for testing too. They’re a hard bunch to please so you can be sure if it’s here, it’s up to the job.
